Teaching at the Institute of Soil Science



Teaching at the Institute of Soil Science and Forest Nutrition consists of lectures, seminars and practical activities like field trips as well as laboratory exercises. The lectures are mainly developed for forestry students. But there are also ordinary lectures, mainly for students from hydrology, biology and geology (EUCOR Uni Basel).

 

To get an overview of current lectures related to our institute, please select "Winter Term 2007/8" on the left. The "Scripts/Downloads" section contains scripts, presentations and handouts from some of our lectures.

Due to the introduction of new Master and Bachelor study programmes the whole course system is currently being rearranged.

This website also hosts extensive e-learning modules (Forest Ecology Online and PEMO). See the section "ILIAS / Online Learning".


If you are interested in writing a soils-related B.Sc., M.Sc. or diploma thesis, please have a look at the section "B.Sc./M.Sc. theses" where we list currently available topics.
